Instructions for the Osmosis Lab Report

This will be an individual lab report. Each group will perform the experiment and collect the data but the actual writing is to be done on an individual basis.

The lab report will be divided into three parts, (A), (B) and (C) respectively

(A)

Prepare a graph of the weight difference (y) versus the concentration of sugar (x). Use M1V1 = M2V2 to obtain the sugar concentration.

(B)

Explain your results.

(C)

Design an experiment that would show that intact cells are require to obtain the results that your did.
